Each of these sections is administered by a central council, the head office of which is in Paris, composed of appointed members and elected members, in accordance with the procedures laid down in this chapter, whose term of office is six years.
Subject to the provisions of article L. 4232-13, pharmacists who are registered on the roll for each section and who have been practising for at least three years are eligible for election to the central council of each section.
The central council elects from among its members an executive committee consisting of a chairman, a vice-chairman, a treasurer and at least one other councillor. The members of the executive committee are elected for three years. They may be re-elected.
The Executive Committee prepares and implements the decisions of the Central Council. It deals with urgent matters between sessions. Its decisions on urgent matters are reported to the next session of the Central Council.
