Article L424-9 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

A foreign national who has been granted subsidiary protection is issued with a multi-annual residence permit bearing the words “beneficiary of subsidiary protection” for a maximum period of four years.

L’étranger qui a obtenu le bénéfice de la protection subsidiaire se voit délivrer une carte de séjour pluriannuelle portant la mention ” bénéficiaire de la protection subsidiaire ” d’une durée maximale de quatre ans.
Cette carte est délivrée dès la première admission au séjour de l’étranger.
