Notwithstanding the provisions of article L. 4341-2, the ministers responsible for higher education and health, after obtaining the opinion of a committee appointed by joint decree, may authorise to continue to practise their profession, either without any limitation, or for one or more establishments or for a specific type of activity, persons who, on 1 January 1964, usually performed acts of re-education “constituting a treatment of pathological anomalies” of the voice, speech and oral or written language, outside the presence of a doctor, without holding one of the qualifications mentioned in article L. 4341-2 and who had applied for authorisation before 1 July 1972.
