Article L4425-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The budget of the Corsican regional authority is the act by which the annual revenue and expenditure of the Corsican regional authority are forecast and authorised. The budget voted must be balanced in terms of expenditure and revenue.

The budget of the Corsican regional authority is drawn up in the operating section and the investment section, both in terms of revenue and expenditure. Certain interventions, activities or services are individualised within annexed budgets.

The budget of the Corsican regional authority is divided into chapters and articles.

The draft budget of the Corsican regional authority is adopted in the Executive Council by its president, who forwards it to the president of the Assembly of Corsica before 15 February.

A decree sets the conditions for application of this article.

Le budget de la collectivité de Corse est l’acte par lequel sont prévues et autorisées les recettes et les dépenses annuelles de la collectivité de Corse. Le budget voté doit être équilibré en dépenses et en recettes.

Le budget de la collectivité de Corse est établi en section de fonctionnement et en section d’investissement, tant en recettes qu’en dépenses. Certaines interventions, activités ou services sont individualisés au sein de budgets annexes.

Le budget de la collectivité de Corse est divisé en chapitres et articles.

Le projet de budget de la collectivité de Corse est arrêté en conseil exécutif par son président qui le transmet au président de l’Assemblée de Corse avant le 15 février.

Un décret fixe les conditions d’application du présent article.
