Within the regional working conditions steering committee, the regional occupational health and prevention committee is made up of representatives of the State, the regional occupational health and retirement insurance fund, the regional network of agricultural social security funds, representative employers’ organisations at national and cross-industry level and representative employees’ trade unions at national and cross-industry level.
The committee’s tasks include:
1° Formulating guidelines for the regional occupational health plan and participating in monitoring its implementation;
2° Promoting networking between all regional and local players involved in occupational risk prevention;
3° Contributing to the coordination of prevention tools available to businesses;
4° Monitoring the quality of prevention and occupational health services.
