Article L5134-57 of the French Labour Code

By way of derogation from the provisions of article L. 1237-1, the young people’s work experience contract may be terminated without notice, at the employee’s initiative, when the purpose of the termination is to enable the employee:

1° To be taken on under an apprenticeship contract or professionalisation contract ;

2° To follow one of the continuing vocational training courses mentioned in article L. 6313-1.

Par dérogation aux dispositions de l’article L. 1237-1, le contrat jeune en entreprise peut être rompu sans préavis, à l’initiative du salarié, lorsque la rupture a pour objet de lui permettre :

1° D’être embauché dans le cadre d’un contrat d’apprentissage ou d’un contrat de professionnalisation ;

2° De suivre l’une des action de formation professionnelle continue mentionnées à l’article L. 6313-1.
