The State is responsible for steering employment policy for the disabled. In conjunction with the public employment service, the regions responsible for the regional public vocational training service, the association responsible for managing the fund for the professional integration of disabled people and the fund for the integration of disabled people in the civil service, it sets the objectives and priorities of this policy.

L’Etat assure le pilotage de la politique de l’emploi des personnes handicapées. Il fixe, en lien avec le service public de l’emploi, les régions chargées du service public régional de la formation professionnelle, l’association chargée de la gestion du fonds de développement pour l’insertion professionnelle des handicapés et le fonds d’insertion des personnes handicapées dans la fonction publique, les objectifs et priorités de cette politique.
