Asset management companies shall act honestly, fairly and professionally in the best interests of investors.
All information, including promotional communications, sent by an asset management company to investors shall be accurate, clear and not misleading. Promotional communications shall be clearly identifiable as such.
The General Regulation of the Autorité des marchés financiers shall specify the conditions for application of the first two paragraphs above, taking into account the nature of the activity carried out, the nature of the financial instrument in question, and whether or not the investor is a professional.
