Article L5721-7 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The mixed syndicate is dissolved ipso jure either at the end of the period for which it was set up, or at the end of the operation that it was intended to carry out, or when it has only one member left.

It may also be dissolved, on its own initiative or at the reasoned request of the majority of the legal entities that make it up, by reasoned order of the representative of the State in the department in which the syndicate has its registered office.

The order determines, in compliance with the rights of third parties and the provisions of Articles L. 5211-25-1 and L. 5211-26, the conditions for the liquidation of the syndicate.
