Article L6112-1 of the French Public Health Code

The public hospital service performs all the tasks assigned to health care institutions by Chapter I of this Title, as well as providing emergency medical assistance, in compliance with the principles of equal access and care, continuity, adaptation and neutrality and in accordance with the obligations defined in article L. 6112-2.

Article L6112-1

Le service public hospitalier exerce l’ensemble des missions dévolues aux établissements de santé par le chapitre Ier du présent titre ainsi que l’aide médicale urgente, dans le respect des principes d’égalité d’accès et de prise en charge, de continuité, d’adaptation et de neutralité et conformément aux obligations définies à l’article L. 6112-2.
