Article L7122-29 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The representative of the State in the territorial collectivity alone is authorised to speak on behalf of the State before the assembly of French Guiana.

By agreement of the president of the assembly of French Guiana and the representative of the State in the territorial collectivity, the latter shall be heard by the assembly of French Guiana.

In addition, at the request of the Prime Minister, the representative of the State in the territorial collectivity shall be heard by the assembly of French Guiana.

Article L7122-29

Le représentant de l’Etat dans la collectivité territoriale est seul habilité à s’exprimer au nom de l’Etat devant l’assemblée de Guyane.

Par accord du président de l’assemblée de Guyane et du représentant de l’Etat dans la collectivité territoriale, celui-ci est entendu par l’assemblée de Guyane.

En outre, sur demande du Premier ministre, le représentant de l’Etat dans la collectivité territoriale est entendu par l’assemblée de Guyane.
