At the end of their mandate or the exercise of their functions, the president of the assembly of Martinique or any vice-president, the president of the executive council or any executive councillor who, for the exercise of their mandate or functions, has ceased their salaried professional activity is entitled, at their request, to professional training and a skills assessment under the conditions set out in part six of the labour code.
When the person concerned applies for the training leave provided for in articles L. 6322-1 to L. 6322-3 of the same code as well as the skills assessment leave provided for in article L. 6322-42 of the said code, the time spent as a local representative is assimilated to the periods of activity required for access to this leave.
