Article L743-20 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The liberty and detention judge shall inform the administrative court before which the foreign national has lodged an appeal against the removal decision, if any, of the meaning of his decision without delay and by all available means.
Failure to comply with the provisions of the first paragraph shall have no effect on the legality and validity of subsequent procedures for enforcing the removal decision.

Article L743-20

Le juge des libertés et de la détention informe sans délai et par tous moyens du sens de sa décision le tribunal administratif saisi, le cas échéant, par l’étranger d’un recours dirigé contre la décision d’éloignement qui le vise.
La méconnaissance des dispositions du premier alinéa est sans conséquence sur la régularité et le bien-fondé des procédures ultérieures d’exécution de la décision d’éloignement.
