Section 3: Informing the public prosecutor and the administrative court

When an order by the liberties and detention judge ends the detention of a foreign national or places him/her under house arrest, it is immediately notified to the public prosecutor. The foreign national is kept at the disposal of the courts for a period of ten hours from this notification, unless the public prosecutor decides otherwise.

The liberty and detention judge shall inform the administrative court before which the foreign national has lodged an appeal against the removal decision, if any, of the meaning of his decision without delay and by all available means.Failure to comply with the provisions of the first paragraph shall have no effect on the legality and validity of subsequent procedures for enforcing the removal decision. >The administrative court shall inform the…
