Article L8271-12 of the French Labour Code

Where a company’s registered office is located in jointly occupied premises, in accordance witharticle L. 123-10 of the French Commercial Code, which punishes certain offences relating to the register of companies and businesses, the inspection officers are entitled to obtain from the registered office any documents held on the company’s premises that are necessary for them to carry out their task of combating undeclared work.

Les agents de contrôle sont habilités, lorsque le siège de l’entreprise est domicilié dans des locaux occupés en commun en application de l’article L. 123-10 du code de commerce réprimant certaines infractions en matière de registre du commerce et des sociétés, à se faire communiquer par l’entreprise domiciliataire tous les documents détenus dans ses locaux nécessaires à l’accomplissement de leur mission de lutte contre le travail dissimulé.
