On a proposal from the President, the Territorial Council may decide to terminate the duties of a Vice-President; it then elects his or her successor under the conditions laid down in Article LO 6432-7.
The territorial council may, with the agreement of the group of elected representatives to which it belongs, terminate the duties of one of the members of the executive council who is not a vice-president. This member is replaced under the conditions laid down in Article LO 6432-7.
Appeals against deliberations adopted in application of this article are referred to the Conseil d’Etat ruling on contentious matters.
