Any deed or document filed as an annex to the Trade and Companies Register on behalf of a legal entity whose registered office is located on French territory shall be filed at the registry of the court within whose jurisdiction the registered office is located. Where the deed or document filed is a copy, the latter shall be certified as a true copy by the legal representative or by any person authorised by the texts governing the form of company in question to carry out such certification.
The filing shall be recorded in a report drawn up by the registrar and shall give rise to the issue by the latter of a receipt indicating the company name or denomination, the address of the registered office, for companies, their form, the number and nature of the deeds and documents filed as well as the date of filing. If the filing is made by a person who is already registered, the minutes shall mention the information provided for in 1° and 2° of article R. 123-237.
When made electronically, the filing referred to in the first paragraph is made via the single body referred to in Article R. 123-1 and under the conditions provided for in Article R. 123-7.
