Article R1233-18 of the French Labour Code

Where the employer draws up a job protection plan, the conditions for implementing redeployment leave are set out in this plan.
Where the employer is not required to draw up such a plan, it shall send the staff representatives a document specifying the conditions for implementing the redeployment leave, together with the information provided for in articles L. 1233-10, in the event of less than ten employees being made redundant within the same thirty-day period, and L. 1233-31 and L. 1233-32, in the event of ten or more employees being made redundant within the same thirty-day period.

Lorsque l’employeur établit un plan de sauvegarde de l’emploi, les conditions de mise en œuvre du congé de reclassement sont fixées dans ce plan.
Lorsqu’il n’est pas tenu d’établir ce plan, l’employeur adresse aux représentants du personnel un document précisant les conditions de mise en œuvre du congé de reclassement, avec les renseignements prévus aux articles L. 1233-10, en cas de licenciement de moins de dix salariés dans une même période de trente jours, L. 1233-31 et L. 1233-32, en cas de licenciement de dix salariés ou plus dans une même période de trente jours.
