Article R1235-3 of the French Public Health Code

Any import or export of organs, excluding transit, is subject to the following information being affixed to the package:

1° The words: “elements or products of human origin” ;

2° The designation of the organ, mentioning, where applicable, whether it is a right or left organ;

3° The purpose or purposes, as referred to in Articles L. 1211-1 and L. 1235-1, for which the organ is intended;

4° For import, the name, address and telephone number of the supplier, the health establishment or the organisation authorised to import and the final recipient; for export, the name, address and telephone number of the sender, the health establishment or the organisation authorised to export, and the final recipient;

5° The words: “fragile” ;

6° The words: “do not irradiate”.

7° The conditions of transport, in particular the transport temperature, and the appropriate position of the package.

The package is accompanied by the authorisation issued in application of articles L. 1233-1, L. 1234-2 and L. 1235-1.

Article R1235-3

Toute opération d’importation ou d’exportation d’organes, à l’exclusion du transit, est subordonnée à l’apposition sur le colis des informations suivantes :

1° La mention : ” éléments ou produits d’origine humaine ” ;

2° La désignation de l’organe, mentionnant, le cas échéant, s’il s’agit d’un organe droit ou gauche ;

3° La ou les finalités, mentionnées aux articles L. 1211-1 et L. 1235-1, auxquelles l’organe est destiné ;

4° Pour l’importation, les nom, adresse et numéro de téléphone du fournisseur, de l’établissement de santé ou de l’organisme autorisé à importer et du destinataire final ; pour l’exportation, les nom, adresse et numéro de téléphone de l’expéditeur, de l’établissement de santé ou de l’organisme autorisés à exporter, ainsi que du destinataire final ;

5° La mention : ” fragile ” ;

6° La mention : ” ne pas irradier “.

7° Les conditions de transport, notamment la température de transport, et la position appropriée du colis.

Le colis est accompagné de l’autorisation délivrée en application des articles L. 1233-1, L. 1234-2 et L. 1235-1.
