Article R1243-29 of the French Public Health Code

By way of derogation from the provisions of this section, where the tissues, their derivatives or the cells or cell therapy preparations are intended for the manufacture of a proprietary medicinal product or a medicinal product manufactured industrially or by a method involving an industrial process, the authorisation provided for in Article L. 5124-3 constitutes authorisation, for the manufacturers of pharmaceutical products mentioned in article R. 5124-2, to carry out the activities mentioned in article R. 1243-1, with the exception of those of distribution and transfer of tissues, their derivatives or cells or cell therapy preparations.

Article R1243-29

Par dérogation aux dispositions de la présente section, lorsque les tissus, leurs dérivés ou les cellules ou les préparations de thérapie cellulaire sont destinés à la fabrication d’une spécialité pharmaceutique ou d’un médicament fabriqué industriellement ou selon une méthode dans laquelle intervient un processus industriel, l’autorisation prévue à l’article L. 5124-3 vaut autorisation, pour les fabricants de produits pharmaceutiques mentionnés à l’article R. 5124-2, à exercer les activités mentionnées à l’article R. 1243-1, à l’exception de celles de distribution et de cession des tissus, de leurs dérivés ou des cellules ou des préparations de thérapie cellulaire.
