Article R1253-15 of the French Labour Code

The main activity of the employers’ group referred to in article R. 1253-14 is to replace the persons referred to in that article in the event of:
1° Temporary impediment resulting from illness, accident, maternity or death;
2° Temporary absences related to leave of any kind, vocational training or the exercise of a professional, trade union or elective mandate.

Article R1253-15

Le groupement d’employeurs mentionné à l’article R. 1253-14 a pour activité principale le remplacement des personnes mentionnées à cet article en cas :
1° Soit d’empêchement temporaire résultant de maladie, d’accident, de maternité ou de décès ;
2° Soit d’absences temporaires liées aux congés de toute nature, au suivi d’une action de formation professionnelle ou à l’exercice d’un mandat professionnel, syndical ou électif.
