Article R132-14 of the French Sports Code

The agreement specifies, where applicable, whether the participation of professional teams in competitions on the federal calendar or organised by the professional league falls within the remit of the affiliated sports associations or the companies they have set up pursuant to article L. 122-1.

La convention précise, le cas échéant, si la participation des équipes professionnelles aux compétitions inscrites au calendrier fédéral ou organisées par la ligue professionnelle relève de la compétence des associations sportives affiliées ou des sociétés qu’elles ont créées en application de l’article L. 122-1.
