Article R1324-6 of the French Public Health Code

Placing on the market and using materials and products intended for production, distribution and packaging installations that come into contact with water intended for human consumption, as referred to in article R. 1321-48 , or products and processes intended for treating water intended for human consumption, as referred to in article R. 1321-50, without having the certificate provided for in III and II of these articles respectively, is punishable by the fine provided for 5th class offences. The Minister for Health may withdraw the products in question from the market.

Le fait de mettre sur le marché et d’utiliser des matériaux et produits destinés aux installations de production, de distribution et de conditionnement qui entrent en contact avec l’eau destinée à la consommation humaine mentionnés à l’article R. 1321-48 ou des produits et procédés destinés au traitement de l’eau destinée à la consommation humaine mentionnés à l’article R. 1321-50, sans disposer de l’attestation prévue respectivement au III et au II de ces articles, est puni de l’amende prévue pour les contraventions de la 5e classe. Le ministre chargé de la santé peut retirer du marché les produits en cause.
