The objection provided for in the first paragraph of I of Article L. 134-4 is lodged with the Bibliothèque nationale de France. Upon receipt, the Bibliothèque nationale de France enters a note in the public database provided for in Article L. 134-2 to the effect that the book is the subject of a statement of opposition that is currently being examined. It informs the approved collective management bodies mentioned in article L. 134-3 and sends them the documents produced in support of the opposition within one month.
If these organisations are unable to establish within three months of the documents being sent that the statement of opposition has been submitted by a person who is not entitled to do so, the Bibliothèque nationale de France will enter a statement in the public database provided for in Article L. 134-2 to the effect that they may not exercise the right to authorise the reproduction and representation in digital form of the book concerned.
If the statement of opposition is submitted by a person who is not entitled to do so, the Bibliothèque nationale de France will enter a statement in the public database provided for in Article L. 134-2 to the effect that they may not exercise the right to authorise the reproduction and representation in digital form of the book concerned.
If the declaration of opposition comes from the author of the unavailable book, the Bibliothèque nationale de France ceases to make the data and information relating to this book accessible to the public.
