Article R134-8 of the French Intellectual Property Code

The application for withdrawal provided for in the second paragraph of article L. 134-6 must be made to the collective management organisation mentioned in article L. 134-3. Failing to establish within three months of receipt of the withdrawal request that the request was made by a person not entitled to do so, the organisation forfeits the right provided for in I of Article L. 134-3.

Article R134-8

La demande de retrait prévue au deuxième alinéa de l’article L. 134-6 s’exerce auprès de l’organisme de gestion collective mentionné à l’article L. 134-3. A défaut d’établir dans les trois mois suivant la réception de la demande de retrait que cette demande a été présentée par une personne n’ayant pas qualité pour ce faire, l’organisme perd le droit prévu au I de l’article L. 134-3.
