Article R1342-3 of the French Public Health Code

Lorsqu’une substance ou un mélange présente un danger grave pour la santé humaine ou pour l’environnement pour des motifs liés à sa classification, à son étiquetage ou à son emballage, les ministres chargés de l’environnement, de la santé et du travail prennent par arrêté conjoint les mesures nécessaires à la mise en œuvre de la clause de sauvegarde prévue par l’article 52 du règlement (CE) n° 1272/2008 du 16 décembre 2008 relatif à la classification, à l’étiquetage et à l’emballage des substances et des mélanges, y compris, le cas échéant, des restrictions ou des prescriptions particulières pour la mise sur le marché de la substance ou du mélange.
