Article R1424-7 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The elections of the representatives of the municipalities and public establishments for inter-municipal cooperation as provided for in Article L. 1424-24-3 are organised by the chairman of the fire and rescue service’s board of directors, who draws up the list of voters and the date of the electoral operations.

These elections take place by post. The costs of organising the elections are borne by the departmental or territorial fire and rescue service.

Les élections des représentants des communes et des établissements publics de coopération intercommunale telles que prévues à l’article L. 1424-24-3 sont organisées par le président du conseil d’administration du service d’incendie et de secours qui arrête la liste des électeurs et la date des opérations électorales.

Ces élections ont lieu par correspondance. Les frais d’organisation des élections sont à la charge du service départemental ou territorial d’incendie et de secours.
