Article R143-3 of the French Insurance Code

For the application of article L. 143-2, the committee’s internal regulations determine the possibilities for its members to appoint a proxy, the conditions and deadlines for convening the committee and the conditions under which the committee deliberates. In particular, they stipulate that each member has one vote and that in the event of a tie, the committee chairman has the casting vote.

The committee meets at least once a year, when convened by its chairman or by at least half of its members. The agenda for the meeting is set by the person calling the meeting. Minutes and an attendance register are kept of Committee meetings.

Article R143-3

Pour l’application de l’article L. 143-2, le règlement intérieur du comité détermine les possibilités pour ses membres de donner pouvoir, les conditions et les délais de convocation du comité ainsi que les conditions dans lesquelles ce comité délibère. Il prévoit en particulier que chacun de ses membres détient un droit de vote et qu’en cas d’égalité des suffrages le président du comité a voix prépondérante.

Le comité est réuni au moins une fois par an, sur convocation de son président ou d’au moins la moitié de ses membres. L’ordre du jour de la réunion est fixé par l’auteur de la convocation. Il est tenu un procès-verbal et un registre de présence des réunions du comité.
