Article R1431-10 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The public bodies represented on the Board of Directors shall issue a call for applications with a view to drawing up a list of candidates for the post of Director. After receiving the applications, they shall unanimously draw up the list of candidates.

The proposal of the Board of Directors referred to in the second paragraph of article L. 1431-5 is adopted by a two-thirds majority of its members.

Les personnes publiques représentées au conseil d’administration procèdent à un appel à candidatures en vue d’établir une liste de candidats à l’emploi de directeur. Après réception des candidatures, elles établissent à l’unanimité la liste des candidats.

La proposition du conseil d’administration visée au deuxième alinéa de l’article L. 1431-5 est prise à la majorité des deux tiers de ses membres.
