The committee issues its opinions by a majority of the voting members present.
Staff representatives and the committee chairman vote on matters relating to the management of social and cultural activities.
Voting is by show of hands. However, voting is by secret ballot in the case of a request for an opinion on the proposed redundancy of a protected employee, for which an opinion is required in application of the provisions of the Labour Code. Abstentions are permitted. The opinion is favourable or unfavourable if a majority of the members present vote in favour or against. In the absence of a majority, the opinion is deemed to have been given or the proposal formulated.
