Article R144-13 of the French Insurance Code

I. – When the association signs a single plan, the Board of Directors may act as the Supervisory Committee.

A separate supervisory committee is formed within six months of the association signing a second plan. This committee shall adopt its own rules of procedure.

The Board of Directors acting as the Supervisory Committee or the Supervisory Committee meets at least once a year, when convened by its Chairman or by at least one third of its members. The agenda for the meeting is set by the person calling the meeting. Minutes and an attendance register are kept of Committee meetings.

II – At least half of the members of the Supervisory Committee are representatives of the members of the plan.

I. ― Lorsque l’association souscrit un unique plan, le conseil d’administration peut exercer les fonctions de comité de surveillance.


Un comité de surveillance distinct est formé dans les six mois qui suivent la signature d’un deuxième plan par l’association. Ce comité se dote d’un règlement intérieur.


Le conseil d’administration exerçant les fonctions de comité de surveillance ou le comité de surveillance est réuni au moins une fois par an, sur convocation de son président ou d’au moins le tiers de ses membres. L’ordre du jour de la réunion est fixé par l’auteur de la convocation. Il est tenu un procès-verbal et un registre de présence des réunions du comité.


II. ― Le comité de surveillance est composé pour moitié au moins de représentants des adhérents à ce plan.
