Article R1442-22-5 of the French Labour Code

If a vacancy occurs before the expiry date of the term of office, the member of the Commission is replaced and installed within three months in the same way as for the initial appointment. The member thus appointed completes the term of office of the member he replaces.

Lorsqu’une vacance se produit avant la date d’expiration des mandats, le membre de la commission est remplacé et installé dans les trois mois selon les modalités prévues pour la désignation initiale. Le membre ainsi désigné achève le mandat de celui qu’il remplace.
