Article R15-33-43 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

When the penal composition occurs following an offence provided for in articles 222-19-1 or 222-20-1 of the Penal Code or to the articles L. 234-1 or L. 234-8 of the Highway Code or any other offence giving rise to the withdrawal of driving licence points, the official report referred to in Article R. 15-33-40 includes a statement informing the person of the loss of points that will result from the enforcement of the settlement, of the existence of automated processing of these points and of the possibility for him or her to exercise his or her right of access.

Article R15-33-43

Lorsque la composition pénale intervient à la suite d’un délit prévu aux articles 222-19-1 ou 222-20-1 du code pénal ou aux articles L. 234-1 ou L. 234-8 du code de la route ou de tout autre délit donnant lieu au retrait des points du permis de conduire, le procès-verbal mentionné à l’article R. 15-33-40 comporte une mention informant la personne de la perte de points qui résultera de l’exécution de la composition pénale, de l’existence d’un traitement automatisé de ces points et de la possibilité pour elle d’exercer son droit d’accès.
