Article R211-18 of the French Tourism Code

After the contract has been concluded, the contracting carrier or tour operator shall inform the passenger of any change in the identity of the carrier actually operating the flight segment(s) specified in the contract.

This change shall be brought to the passenger’s attention, including via the natural or legal person who sold the air ticket, as soon as it is known. The passenger must be informed at the latest at the time of check-in or before boarding if the connection is made without prior check-in.

Après la conclusion du contrat, le transporteur contractuel ou l’organisateur du voyage informe le voyageur de toute modification de l’identité du transporteur assurant effectivement le ou les tronçons de vols figurant au contrat.

Cette modification est portée à la connaissance du voyageur, y compris par l’intermédiaire de la personne physique ou morale ayant vendu le titre de transport aérien, dès qu’elle est connue. Le voyageur en est informé au plus tard, obligatoirement, au moment de l’enregistrement ou avant les opérations d’embarquement lorsque la correspondance s’effectue sans enregistrement préalable.
