Article R211-31 of the French Insurance Code

If, within six weeks of the presentation of the correspondence provided for in the first paragraph of article L. 211-10 requesting the information to be sent to the insurer in accordance with articles R. 211-37 or R. 211-38, the insurer has received no reply or only an incomplete reply, the period provided for in the first paragraph of article L. 211-9 is suspended from the expiry of the six-week period until receipt of the information requested.

Article R211-31

Si, dans un délai de six semaines à compter de la présentation de la correspondance qui est prévue au premier alinéa de l’article L. 211-10 et par laquelle l’assureur demande les renseignements qui doivent lui être adressés conformément aux articles R. 211-37 ou R. 211-38, l’assureur n’a reçu aucune réponse ou qu’une réponse incomplète, le délai prévu au premier alinéa de l’article L. 211-9 est suspendu à compter de l’expiration du délai de six semaines et jusqu’à la réception des renseignements demandés.
