Article R212-87 of the French Sports Code

Any person following a training course leading to a diploma, a professional qualification or a certificate of qualification registered on the list drawn up by the Minister for Sport provided for in article R. 212-2 who wishes to carry out one of the functions mentioned in the first paragraph of article L. 212-1 must make a prior declaration to the Prefect of the département under the conditions mentioned in article R. 212-85.

The Prefect will issue a trainee certificate.

Article R212-87

Toute personne suivant une formation préparant à un diplôme, un titre à finalité professionnelle ou un certificat de qualification inscrit sur la liste arrêtée par le ministre chargé des sports prévue à l’article R. 212-2 qui souhaite exercer l’une des fonctions mentionnées au premier alinéa de l’article L. 212-1 doit en faire préalablement la déclaration au préfet du département dans les conditions mentionnées à l’article R. 212-85.

Le préfet délivre une attestation de stagiaire.
