Article R222-4 of the French Consumer Code

Where the document by which the consumer has communicated his wish to withdraw to the supplier has been sent on paper or on another durable medium before the expiry of the period referred to in Article L. 222-7, the consumer is deemed to have complied with this time limit.

Article R222-4

Lorsque l’acte par lequel le consommateur a communiqué au fournisseur sa volonté de se rétracter a été envoyé sur un support papier ou sur un autre support durable avant l’expiration du délai mentionné à l’article L. 222-7, le consommateur est réputé avoir respecté ce délai.
