To ensure that federations comply with their anti-doping obligations, the Agence française de lutte contre le dopage is empowered to :
1° Question the approved federations, under conditions that it defines, about the resources implemented by them to ensure compliance with these obligations;
2° When the answers provided by the approved federations or when information brought to its attention justifies it, carry out an audit, on the decision of its college, concerning the resources implemented by the federations to ensure compliance with these obligations. The Minister responsible for Sport is informed immediately of the decision of the French Anti-Doping Agency.
The audit is conducted under conditions defined by the Agency. It gives rise to a provisional report on which the federation is invited to present its observations.
After giving the federation the opportunity to present its observations, the Agency draws up the final audit report, which may include recommendations.
The Agency forwards the final audit report to the Minister for Sport and the sports federation concerned. It may also decide to forward this report to the National Sports Agency, the French National Olympic and Sports Committee, the French Paralympic and Sports Committee where applicable, and the international federation concerned.
Once the final audit report has been sent, the Agency may decide to publish it on its website, in full, in excerpts or in summary form.
