The samples are sent to the laboratory used in a form that respects anonymity.
The analyses are carried out in accordance with international standards.
With the exception of substances for which a decision limit as defined in Annex 1 of the World Anti-Doping Code is specified in the Prohibited List or in a technical document established by the World Anti-Doping Agency, the presence in an athlete’s sample of any quantity of a prohibited substance or its metabolites or markers constitutes an anti-doping rule violation.
The identification or measurement of certain Prohibited Substances shall, where applicable, be conducted in accordance with the specific criteria exceptionally provided for such substances in the Prohibited List, International Standards and technical documents established by the World Anti-Doping Agency.
