Where an Athlete is sanctioned for an anti-doping rule violation based on an Adverse Analytical Finding, the Athlete’s biological profile shall be restored to its original state at the start of the Prohibited Period.

When the athlete is sanctioned for an anti-doping rule violation on the basis of information other than his biological profile, this profile remains in force unless the use of a prohibited substance or method has resulted in an alteration of haematological or steroid markers. In this case, the athlete’s profile is reset to its initial state as soon as the sanction comes into force.

Lorsque le sportif est sanctionné pour une violation des règles antidopage consécutivement à un résultat de profil anormal, son profil biologique est remis à l’état initial au début de la période d’interdiction qui lui est imposée.

Lorsque le sportif est sanctionné pour une violation des règles antidopage sur la base d’autres informations que son profil biologique, ce profil demeure en vigueur sauf si l’usage d’une substance ou méthode interdite a donné lieu à une altération des marqueurs hématologiques ou stéroïdiens. Dans cette hypothèse, le profil du sportif est remis à l’état initial dès l’entrée en vigueur de la sanction.
