Regardless of compliance with the requirements set out in paragraphs 1 and 2 above, a blood sample can only be used to establish a biological profile if it is taken:
– either before a training session or participation in a sporting event;
– or at least two hours after the end of the physical activity resulting from a training session or participation in a sporting event.
The athlete must remain in a seated position, with feet touching the ground, for a period of at least ten minutes before the blood sample is taken.
