Article R2321-8 of the French Public Health Code

On receipt of the application, the Director General of the Regional Health Agency will arrange for the applicant to be examined in a medical-psychological centre.

The results of these examinations are sent to the Director General of the Regional Health Agency by the centres where they were carried out.

The health guarantees referred to in article R. 2321-4 may only be considered to have been met if the conclusions of the examinations carried out certify that the applicant is free from any mental disorder.

Reasons must be given for any refusal of approval.

Dès réception du dossier, le directeur général de l’agence régionale de santé provoque l’examen du postulant dans un centre médico-psychologique.

Les résultats de ces examens sont adressés au directeur général de l’agence régionale de santé par les centres où ils ont été pratiqués.

Les garanties sanitaires mentionnées à l’article R. 2321-4 ne peuvent être considérées comme remplies que si les conclusions des examens pratiqués attestent que le postulant est indemne de toute affection mentale.

Tout refus d’agrément doit être motivé.
