Article R2334-37 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

For the application of II of Article L. 2334-40, the amount of credits allocated to each département is equal to the sum of the following three amounts:

1° The sum of the allocations calculated in application of a of 2° of II of article L. 2334-40 for each eligible commune in the department; the allocation for each commune is calculated on the basis of the product of its population, as defined in Article L. 2334-2, by the synthetic index defined in II of article R. 2334-36, without this amount exceeding five million euros;

2° The sum of the allocations calculated in application of b of 2° of II of article L. 2334-40 for each eligible commune in the département; the allocation for each commune is calculated on the basis of the product of its population, as defined in article L. 2334-2, by the synthetic index defined in II of article R. 2334-36, without this amount exceeding one million euros;

3° The sum of the allocations calculated in application of the sixth paragraph of II of article L. 2334-40 for each commune in the department that ceased to be eligible for the city policy allocation in 2017.

Article R2334-37

Pour l’application du II de l’article L. 2334-40, le montant des crédits revenant à chaque département est égal à la somme des trois montants suivants :

1° La somme des attributions calculées en application du a du 2° du II de l’article L. 2334-40 pour chaque commune éligible du département ; l’attribution de chaque commune est calculée en fonction du produit de sa population, telle que définie à l’article L. 2334-2, par l’indice synthétique défini au II de l’article R. 2334-36, sans que ce montant puisse excéder cinq millions d’euros ;

2° La somme des attributions calculées en application du b du 2° du II de l’article L. 2334-40 pour chaque commune éligible du département ; l’attribution de chaque commune est calculée en fonction du produit de sa population, telle que définie à l’article L. 2334-2, par l’indice synthétique défini au II de l’article R. 2334-36, sans que ce montant puisse excéder un million d’euros ;

3° La somme des attributions calculées en application du sixième alinéa du II de l’article L. 2334-40 pour chaque commune du département ayant cessé d’être éligible à la dotation politique de la ville en 2017.
