Article R2334-6 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

For the application of article L. 2334-20, the data to be taken into account is assessed at 1 January of the year preceding the financial year for which the allocation is made, with the exception of the population, calculated under the conditions laid down in Article L. 2334-2, and the number of children aged between 3 and 16, established by the Institut national de la statistique et des études économiques at the last population census.

Pour l’application de l’article L. 2334-20, les données à prendre en compte s’apprécient au 1er janvier de l’année précédant l’exercice au titre duquel est faite la répartition, à l’exception de la population, calculée dans les conditions prévues à l’article L. 2334-2, et du nombre d’enfants âgés de 3 à 16 ans, établi par l’Institut national de la statistique et des études économiques au dernier recensement de population.
