The overall remuneration of the project manager, broken down by project component, takes account of the following factors:
1° The scope of the assignment, assessed in particular with regard to the number and volume of services required, the scale of the resources to be deployed, any allotment of public works contracts, the deadlines set and, where these have been agreed, the undertakings given by the project manager to respect the estimated cost of the works;
2° The degree of complexity of this task, assessed in particular with regard to the type and technical nature of the work, its integration into the environment, and the requirements and constraints of the programme;
3° The provisional cost of the works based either on the provisional estimate of the works drawn up by the project manager during the preliminary design studies, or on the definitive provisional estimate of the works drawn up during the final preliminary design studies.
