Article R307 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Article R. 83 shall read as follows:

“Art. R. 83.-Before issuing the requested bulletin no. 3, the court clerk shall check the civil status of the person concerned; if he or she does not discover an applicable birth record in the civil status registers, he or she shall refuse to issue the bulletin and shall inform the public prosecutor.

“In the event that, for whatever reason, the authority issuing bulletin no. 3 does not have the civil status records, it shall write on the bulletin, in an apparent manner, the words: “identity not verified”. “

L’article R. 83 est rédigé comme suit :

” Art. R. 83.-Avant d’établir le bulletin n° 3 demandé, le greffier vérifie l’état civil de l’intéressé ; s’il ne découvre pas sur les registres de l’état civil d’acte de naissance applicable, il refuse la délivrance du bulletin et informe le procureur de la République.

” Au cas où, pour une raison quelconque, l’autorité qui établit le bulletin n° 3 ne dispose pas des actes de l’état civil, elle inscrit sur le bulletin, d’une façon apparente, la mention : ” identité non vérifiée “. “
