Article R315-3 of the French Consumer Code

For the application of the third paragraph of article L. 315-2, the lending institution may, either at the time of conclusion of the initial loan agreement, or subsequently with the consent of the borrower, provide for a term of at least ten years, at the end of which the amortisation of the transfer advance loans is initiated if the transfer of the property has not taken place before that date.

Pour l’application du troisième alinéa de l’article L. 315-2, l’établissement prêteur peut, soit au moment de la conclusion du contrat de prêt initial, soit ultérieurement avec le consentement de l’emprunteur, prévoir une durée d’au minimum dix ans, à l’issue de laquelle l’amortissement des prêts avance mutation est initié si la mutation du bien n’a pas eu lieu avant cette date.
