Article R322-11-5 of the French Insurance Code

Any person intending to file a draft public offer with the Autorité des marchés financiers pursuant to Chapter III of Title III of Book IV of the Monetary and Financial Code, with a view to acquiring a given quantity of securities of an insurance or reinsurance undertaking authorised in France, may give prior notice to the Chairman of the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution eight working days before the draft offer is filed or publicly announced, whichever is earlier.

Toute personne envisageant de déposer un projet d’offre publique à l’Autorité des marchés financiers en application du chapitre III du titre III du livre IV du code monétaire et financier, en vue d’acquérir une quantité déterminée de titres d’une entreprise d’assurance ou de réassurance agréée en France, peut en informer préalablement le président de l’Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution huit jours ouvrables avant le dépôt de ce projet d’offre ou son annonce publique si elle est antérieure.
