Article R*322-117-4 of the French Insurance Code

Insurance contracts taken out by the reinsured companies referred to in the first paragraph of Article R. 322-117-1 must indicate, in very conspicuous characters, the name and address of the mutual insurance association which is substituted for the reinsured companies in accordance with the provisions of the same article, and mention the formal undertaking by this company to take the place of the reinsured companies. Compliance with the provisions of Article L. 310-8 is the responsibility of the mutual union.

Les contrats d’assurance souscrits par les sociétés réassurées visées au premier alinéa de l’article R. 322-117-1 doivent indiquer, en caractères très apparents, les nom et adresse de l’union de mutuelles qui est substituée aux sociétés réassurées conformément aux dispositions du même article, et mentionner l’engagement formel de cette société de prendre les lieu et place des sociétés réassurées. Le respect des dispositions de l’article L. 310-8 incombe à l’union de mutuelles.
