Article R322-119-2 of the French Insurance Code

Notwithstanding the provisions of article R. 322-59, paragraph 1, notices of general meetings are sent to members by post or electronically or by advertisement, at least fifteen days before the date of the meeting, in at least two daily or weekly newspapers circulated in the district of the company or caisse. The provisions of the sixth paragraph of Article R. 322-58 do not apply if the Articles of Association stipulate that a member may only be represented by another member.

Par dérogation aux dispositions de l’article R. 322-59, alinéa 1er, les convocations aux assemblées générales sont communiquées aux sociétaires par courrier postal ou électronique ou par annonces, quinze jours au moins avant la date de la réunion, dans au moins deux journaux de la presse quotidienne ou hebdomadaire diffusés dans la circonscription de la société ou de la caisse. Les dispositions du sixième alinéa de l’article R. 322-58 ne sont pas applicables si les statuts stipulent qu’un sociétaire ne peut se faire représenter que par un autre sociétaire.
